Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about our courses, cohorts, and community policies.

Do I need a backyard to take your courses?

No. Many courses are designed for balconies, windowsills, and patios. Each lesson lists the minimum space and light needed.

What supplies are required to start?

We provide a checklist for each course. Expect containers with drainage holes, a peat-free potting mix, and labeled seeds or starts. Optional tools include pruning shears and a moisture meter.

How are cohorts scheduled?

We run rolling cohorts with live Q&A. Orientation happens weekly. You can also study self-paced and join office hours as needed.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If a course does not fit your needs, contact us within 14 days of purchase and before attending a second live session for a full refund.

Will I get personalized feedback?

Cohort students receive guided checkpoints with optional photo or note submissions. We provide targeted feedback on pruning, spacing, and watering routines.

Are these courses suitable for kids?

Yes, with adult supervision for cutting tools. Many lessons offer a family-friendly variant that focuses on sensory exploration.

Do you make medical or yield guarantees?

No. We avoid medical claims and yield guarantees. We focus on skill-building, safe handling, and good gardening practices.

How long do I keep access to course materials?

You retain access for at least 12 months after purchase. If we must retire a course, we provide ample notice and a path to download key resources.

Can I gift a course?

Absolutely. Purchase as usual and forward your receipt to support so we can transfer access to the recipient’s email.
